Data of forest volume deadwood for 3,243 plots related to 19 European countries are introduced alongside this data paper. The aim of the datapaper is to priorities the publication of a high-value dataset, the added-value results of harmonised sampling procedure and in the same time compliance with the recent priority of FAIR Data Principles.
